Guest: The Chicago-born, Los Angeles-raised Edwin A. Santos is both an award winning film
producer and a nominated actor. His new feature length film, SAMURAI COP 2: DEADLY
VENGEANCE is currently playing globally at selected theaters while released on Bluray, 
DVD, VOD and digital streaming.
Edwin produced five feature length films, two short films, one documentary short film (about 
the aftermath of the Northridge Earthquake), a number of behind-the-scenes DVD 
featurettes and original web content including the feature films MAD COWGIRL (Best 
Feature Film, Silver Lake Film Festival 2006), SOAP GIRL (Audience Award for Best 
Feature Film in the Asian American category, Big Bear Lake International Film Festival 
2002) and, as an actor, the short film LOVE HURTS (nominated for Best Supporting Actor & 
Best Cast, 3rd Fall Festival 2011). He also created and produced the episodic web series, 
NO REGRETS (2014) and the sketch video A GETTING LAID GETAWAY (2015) for Funny 
Or Die. 
Edwin also finds time to give back to the community by helping and providing an outlet for 
young actors just starting out to avoid the pitfalls of the entertainment industry while shining 
a spotlight on Filipino American talent. He joined FilAm Creative (FAC) in 2011. In 2015, he 
became an active member when he joined FAC's Leadership Team providing video 
coverage, creating video promos, conducting video interviews and blog articles for various 
FAC-related events such as the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival (as a Community 
Co-Sponsor) and recently volunteering to assist the Los Angeles Food Bank. Moreover, he 
appeared, shot and edited three promotional videos attracting content producers the 
opportunity to collaborate and create original shows for FAC's Bidyo and FAC Channel 
networks. In 2015, he produced FAC's first Hollywood Actors Panel, created specifically for 
FilAm actors with special guest panelists who represent the craft of acting across the board.
With a Bachelor-In-Arts Degree in Radio, Television & Film from California-State University, 
Northridge along with his continuing passion for the creative and visual arts, Edwin is also 
an honorary recipient of the Catherine Clymer Scholarship Award from the Alliance for 
Women in Media, an honorary recipient of the Educational Equity Award for Outstanding 
Service presented by the School of Cinema & Television Arts of California-State University, 
Northridge and he is listed on the Honor Roll of Giving (2007-2009) for the Mike Curb 
College of Arts, Media and Communication of California-State University, Northridge. 
Edwin has trained with Weist-Barron-Hill and Upright Citizens Brigade.

I was featured in HBO's Bored to Death, VH1 “If you like...” commercial and Vetiver "Everyday" music video. I believe in magic, passion, dedication and creativity and also encourage it in the coaching sessions I provide for filmmakers and creatives.
