Sqeeqee social network offers monetization, Cloud storage, file sharing & much more
Sqeeqee is a social networking Site that allows its users to monetize their daily social networking activities.
Sqeeqee (pronounced squeaky) offers its users more than 100 ways to each Sqeeqee Bucks ($Q Bucks) & 9 ways to monetize their profiles on the Site. You can also use the platform to invest, crowdfund, donate to charities, shop & more.
Ordinary actions such as adding buddies, posting videos or photos, playing virtual games, Online shopping or selling goods will earn users $Q Bucks.
New users start off with 10,000 complimentary $Q Bucks to begin their exploration of the site. In case you’re wondering, that 10,000 $Q Bucks equals $1. & yes, it can be redeemed for real life rewards including cash & gift cards from retailers such as Starbucks, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, Target, Outback, Home Depot & many others.
You can also use your $Q Bucks to make purchases in the Sqeeqee Shop, place ads, donate to charity & more.
After launching the social network with all the monetization features in January, Sqeeqee founder & CEO Jenny Q. Ta quickly added a game called Squiggy Piggy for both desktops & mobile devices, & then followed up with a Cloud storage & file-sharing service called SqeekBox
The Cloud storage & file synchronization software allows users to create a special folder in Sqeeqee.com for their personal files. Unlike Dropbox or Google Drive, you have unlimited storage on SqeekBox.
It’s not hard to understand why, because it seems like an obvious attempt to use the game & services like SqeekBox to attract new users to the core social network platform & gain enough momentum for the whole monetization thing to take off.
Irvine, CA-based Sqeeqee was founded in July 2012 by Jenny Q. Ta, a finance industry entrepreneur who has founded & sold Titan Securities & Vantage Investments. Sqeeqee has raised $1.8 million in seed funding in March 2013.
